I bought my house from Kimberly 16 years ago and of course called her to sell it. I have never dealt with anyone as conscientious, skilled, knowledgeable and responsive (no matter when you get in touch with her the response is immediate! On top of all this she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Our house sold immediately and Kimberly handled everything without problem. Now she is putting my sons house up for sale. She has been excellent at keeping us informed and answering all our questions. Last but not least it was sold for almost ten percent over listing price! You will love her!

Our Second Successful Encounter with the Kimberly Johnston Group

In 2011, Kimberly and her team helped us sell our Newcastle rental home. Her team helped us make the best of this starter home, helping it to stand out when the market was really slow. In the end, we had 3 offers to choose from, giving us more flexibility to pick the new owner that matched our needs.

More recently, in March, 2015, we again employed the Kimberly Johnston group to sell our Newport Hills house. Candi, part of the group, helped stage the house with our furnishings and our accessories. The house never looked so good. I was thinking that we should have had Candi give us advice years ago. The pictures were gorgeous.

Kimberly showed us reasonable comparable listings, and helped us determine a reasonable price. We are long term Newport Hills residents, so we know the neighborhood well. But Kimberly helped put all our knowledge in perspective.

The weekend our house hit the MLS listings was a full-on blitzkrieg. All the major websites were up Thursday morning, and we had people walking through by Thursday afternoon. The rest of the weekend was a blur, we had an open house on Saturday. Several prospective buyers had building inspectors in on Sunday and Monday. By Monday evening, we had 5 written offers. We were overwhelmed with the response – neither of us expected anything like this. Kimberly’s negotiation skill and knowledge of the real estate transaction process was invaluable, we ended up with an agreement that was 12% over our asking price. I attribute most of this to Kimberly’s arbitration skills.

We are, of course, very satisfied with our relationship with the Kimberly Johnston group. We always got timely responses to our questions. Kimberly also worked to our timeline; we were neither pushed nor neglected. They did a wonderful job.
